Warranty Policy

At ZENX DIGITAL, we want our customers to shop with confidence. This Warranty Policy explains the contractual warranty provided by ZENX DIGITAL for eligible products purchased through our online store.

This Warranty Policy is in addition to, and does not limit or replace, any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable UK consumer protection law.

1. General Information & Definitions

1.1 ZENX DIGITAL provides a contractual warranty for eligible products purchased directly from our online store, subject to the conditions set out in this Warranty Policy.

1.2 For the purposes of this Warranty Policy, "Product" means a physical product purchased from ZENX DIGITAL through our website.

1.3 "Customer", "you", or "your" means the person who purchases a Product from ZENX DIGITAL.

1.4 "Warranty" means the contractual protection provided by ZENX DIGITAL against eligible manufacturing, material, or technical defects covered by this policy.

2. Warranty Period

Unless a different warranty period is specifically stated on the individual product page or order documentation, eligible products purchased from ZENX DIGITAL are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.

Certain products may have a different manufacturer's or product-specific warranty. Where applicable, the relevant warranty period will be stated on the product page or accompanying documentation.

3. What the Warranty Covers

Our warranty covers defects that arise under normal and intended use and that relate to:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Material defects
  • Technical defects
  • Functional failures not caused by misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorised modification

The Product must have been used and maintained in accordance with applicable manufacturer instructions.

4. Repair, Replacement or Refund

If a Product develops an eligible warranty defect, ZENX DIGITAL may, depending on the circumstances:

  • Repair the Product
  • Replace the Product with the same or an equivalent product
  • Provide another appropriate remedy
  • Provide a refund where appropriate

Where a repair is reasonably possible, we may attempt to repair the original Product first.

If repair is not reasonably possible, we may offer a replacement or another appropriate remedy.

Any remedy provided under this Warranty Policy is subject to applicable UK consumer law.

5. Replacement Products

Where a Product is replaced under this Warranty Policy, we will normally provide the same product or an equivalent product, subject to availability.

If the original Product is unavailable, we may offer an alternative solution or refund where appropriate.

A replacement does not remove or reduce any statutory rights you may have.

6. Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, please contact us using:

Email: zenxdigitaluk@gmail.com
Phone: +44 07903739519

Please provide:

  • Your full name
  • Order number or proof of purchase
  • Product name
  • Description of the fault
  • Date the problem was first noticed
  • Photographs or videos where reasonably requested

We may ask for additional information to determine whether the issue is covered by the Warranty.

7. Inspection of the Product

Once we receive a warranty claim, we may need to inspect or test the Product to determine the cause of the problem.

If the defect is covered by the Warranty, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

If the problem is caused by accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised modification, or another exclusion listed below, the Warranty may not apply.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Before returning a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, smartwatch, or other electronic device, you should:

  • Back up all personal data
  • Remove your SIM card
  • Remove memory cards
  • Sign out of Apple ID, Google Account, Samsung Account, or other accounts
  • Remove passwords and device locks where required for inspection
  • Restore the device to factory settings where appropriate

ZENX DIGITAL is not responsible for personal data that remains on a device provided for inspection, repair, replacement, or return.

9. Return Packaging

Products returned under warranty must be packaged securely to help prevent damage during transportation.

Where possible, use the original packaging. If the original packaging is unavailable, use a strong box and suitable protective material.

ZENX DIGITAL may provide return instructions or a return shipping label where applicable.

10. Warranty Exclusions

The Warranty does not normally cover damage or problems caused by:

  • Accidental damage
  • Drops, impacts, or crushing
  • Broken or cracked screens
  • Broken casing or housing
  • Liquid or moisture damage
  • Fire, flooding, or other environmental damage
  • Improper use
  • Neglect or misuse
  • Use contrary to manufacturer instructions
  • Unauthorized repairs
  • Opening or modification of the Product
  • Jailbreaking or rooting where this causes or contributes to the defect
  • Malware or harmful software where caused by the customer's actions
  • Use of incompatible or non-certified accessories where they cause the damage
  • Damage caused by incorrect installation or assembly
  • Normal cosmetic wear and tear
  • Damage caused during transportation when the Product was improperly packaged by the customer

11. Batteries and Consumable Components

Rechargeable batteries are consumable components and naturally lose capacity over time through normal use and chemical ageing.

Normal battery degradation that occurs through ordinary use is not necessarily considered a manufacturing defect.

However, this does not affect any statutory consumer rights or any specific warranty coverage expressly provided for a particular product.

12. Cosmetic Wear and Tear

The Warranty generally covers functional or technical defects rather than minor cosmetic changes caused by normal use.

Examples may include:

  • Minor scratches
  • Minor scuffs
  • Normal signs of use
  • Cosmetic changes that do not affect functionality

Where cosmetic damage results from a manufacturing defect rather than normal use or accidental damage, it may be assessed separately.

13. Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications

The Warranty may be invalidated where a Product has been opened, repaired, modified, or altered by an unauthorized person and the work causes or contributes to the claimed defect.

This may include:

  • Unauthorized screen replacement
  • Unauthorized battery replacement
  • Unauthorized internal repairs
  • Hardware modification
  • Software modification that causes the fault

This does not affect statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Data Loss

Customers are responsible for backing up their personal data before sending a Product for warranty inspection, repair, replacement, or return.

Repair or replacement may involve resetting or replacing the device, which can result in the permanent loss of data.

ZENX DIGITAL cannot guarantee that personal data will remain on a device during the warranty process.

15. Water and Dust Resistance

Where a device is advertised as water-resistant or dust-resistant, the relevant manufacturer's specifications and limitations apply.

Water or dust damage may not be covered where the damage results from use outside the manufacturer's stated conditions, accidental damage, physical damage, or deterioration caused by normal use.

16. Warranty Claim Processing

After receiving a Product for inspection, we will assess the reported issue.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

  1. Repair the Product;
  2. Replace the Product;
  3. Offer another appropriate remedy; or
  4. Provide a refund where appropriate.

We will communicate the outcome to the customer once the assessment has been completed.

Processing times may vary depending on the Product, availability of replacement units, and the nature of the fault.

17. Return Shipping for Warranty Claims

Where a Product is confirmed to have a defect covered by our contractual Warranty, ZENX DIGITAL will provide or arrange return shipping in accordance with our instructions and applicable law.

Customers should use the return method or shipping label provided by ZENX DIGITAL where one is supplied.

If a customer returns a Product using an unauthorized shipping method without contacting us first, we may be unable to reimburse additional shipping costs unless required by law.

18. Warranty for Repaired or Replaced Products

If a Product is repaired or replaced under this Warranty Policy, the applicable warranty rights will continue in accordance with the original warranty period and applicable law.

Any additional warranty provided for a repaired or replacement Product will be communicated to the customer where applicable.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights that may apply.

19. Fraudulent or Abusive Warranty Claims

ZENX DIGITAL reserves the right to investigate suspected fraudulent or abusive warranty claims.

Examples may include:

  • Deliberately causing damage to a Product
  • Providing false information
  • Attempting to claim for a different Product
  • Removing or altering identifying information
  • Repeatedly abusing the warranty process

Any action taken will be subject to applicable law.

20. Proof of Purchase

Customers may be asked to provide proof of purchase when making a warranty claim.

Acceptable proof may include:

  • Order confirmation
  • Purchase receipt
  • Invoice
  • Order number

21. Statutory Consumer Rights

This Warranty Policy is a contractual warranty provided by ZENX DIGITAL and is in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or replace rights that you have under applicable UK consumer protection law.

If a Product is faulty, not as described, or does not meet the requirements imposed by applicable consumer law, you may have statutory remedies in addition to any contractual warranty offered by ZENX DIGITAL.

22. Manufacturer Warranty

Some Products may also be covered by a separate manufacturer's warranty.

Where applicable, customers may be able to make a warranty claim directly with the manufacturer.

A manufacturer's warranty operates separately from the ZENX DIGITAL Warranty and does not remove any statutory consumer rights.

23. Changes to This Warranty Policy

ZENX DIGITAL may update this Warranty Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, warranty arrangements, or applicable legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on our website.
